Prices

Unless otherwise stated, all prices include UK Duty and VAT.

Prices quoted via email apply only to the order in question and may differ from those offered through other channels such as in-store. Any promotions advertised on this website, or our social media may not be available through other channels.

We reserve the right to alter prices and promotions at any time without notice.

Although we attempt to ensure prices are accurate at all times, errors sometimes occur. We will not be obliged to fulfil orders for items that are priced incorrectly.

Ordering

You must be of legal drinking age to place an order.

This website is non-transactional, and all orders are placed and confirmed via email communication. We will cancel any order that fails our credit card fraud checks, or on the advice of our payment provider, the issuing bank or the cardholder. We only accept orders for delivery to physical addresses.

Delivery

All deliveries must be signed for by an adult of legal drinking age.

For Deliveries to England, Wales, and Southern Scotland we offer a Standard 48-hour delivery service (from order confirmation) at £9.99 per order. Orders over £150 qualify for free delivery. The minimum order is 6 bottles, and this can be mixed.

We do not currently offer deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.

Although we make every effort to ensure orders are delivered on time, all delivery dates and times are estimates.

For most deliveries, wine will be repacked in transit-safe packaging. The original packaging will not be included.

If your order or part of your order is broken in transit, we will issue a refund for the broken items. You may either refuse the delivery or note down the damage with the courier when receiving the goods. If you sign for the goods without doing this, it will be assumed they have been received in good condition.

If the wrong products are delivered to you we will replace them (provided we can still supply the product(s) from stock) or issue a refund. You will not be liable for any additional delivery charges.

If you are not able to receive delivery, and you do not rearrange it with the courier, your order may be returned to us. In this case we reserve the right to charge you for any subsequent delivery attempt.

Tasting tickets and gift vouchers can only be sent by email or collected from the shop.

Returns

If you wish to return a purchase, we will exchange it, issue a credit or refund you. You must return the items within 14 days of delivery and are required to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession such that they are returned to us in a saleable condition, we will arrange a courier free of charge on request (UK Mainland excluding Scottish Highlands).

Corked & faulty wine

If non-fine wine (under £60) you buy from us is corked or otherwise faulty we will issue a credit on return of the bottle in question. To qualify for a credit the wine must have been purchased within the last six months and not damaged or improperly stored. If you suspect a problem, reseal the wine in the bottle and contact us as soon as possible we may request the wine is returned.

Fine wine (£60+) is not covered by this policy and is dealt with on a case-by-case basis. All credits for corked or faulty wine are issued at our discretion.

Bookings & events

Bookings are not secured until payment is received. For public events e.g. open tastings tickets are non-refundable 48 hours prior to the event.

For Private Hire the Following Conditions Apply:

    • A 50% deposit of the total event cost is required to confirm your booking.

Cancellation Policy:

    • More than 7 days before the event: Full refund of the deposit.

    • Between 7 days and 48 hours before the event: 35% of the total event spend will be retained.

    • Within 48 hours of the event: The full deposit is non-refundable.

Gift vouchers are non-refundable.

Due to the nature of the suppliers that we work with and the size of our kitchen, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens in any food served at events. 

Competitions

The promoter of all competitions on any of our social media channels, our website and in-store is Baby Bacchus. Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over unless other exemptions are stated in the competition. Only one entry will be accepted per person.

Closing dates for entry will be clearly stated in the competition description. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The rules of the competition and how to enter will be outlined however, Baby Bacchus reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and the terms and conditions without notice in the event of any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with a competition.

The prizes if applicable will be as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without notice.

Winners will be chosen at random, from all eligible entries received and verified. The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on the relevant social media platform, within 14 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. In entering a Baby Bacchus competition, you are providing your information to Baby Bacchus Ltd and not to any other party.
