Some wine needs time, some wine needs food, but all wine needs good company and a place to enjoy it. Baby Bacchus started from the principle that a wine list is for drinking and not for looking at.
So we began by asking ourselves the question…
“How can we put the very best wines in front of those who really want to drink them.”
The Wine Bar
Nestled in the heart of the City of London, Baby Bacchus offers an intimate wine bar experience. Choose from an ever changing by the glass offering, or simply pick out a bottle from the shop. All our bottles are priced for retail and can be enjoyed in the bar for a flat £20 corkage fee. A food menu of cold cuts and small plates are available to enjoy alongside.
The Bottle Shop
Set within the bar space at 22 Birchin Lane, find our curated selection of premium wines for takeaway. Our bottle shop is ever changing, featuring 200+ wines from the classic regions in the most loved styles, to the unique and less familiar. Loose bottles of premium back vintages to the freshest Rosé, magnums and, a range of sparkling wines.
The Corporate Tastings
At our bespoke, and unique tasting events, every pour is an exploration. Gone are the overbearing, information overloaded tastings. We focus on putting some of the very best wines in front of our customers in a relaxed setting, providing insight where needed, but where enjoyment of the wine takes priority.
Attend one of our regular tastings, enjoy our space for private hire, or create a completely bespoke event at your office or third-party venue.

So we have created a space and environment that we believe encourages the very best wines to be drunk. Operating a bottle shop and corkage model means that wine lovers are incentivised to drink the very best wines. We believe ourselves to be one of the best value merchants in The City.
